Our Story

 

AK Residences was founded in 2001 with a vision to create exceptional residential environments defined by architectural quality, craftsmanship, and long-term value.

 

The company’s first development took place in Politeia, Kifissia, where three autonomous villas on Palaiologou Street set the foundation of AK’s philosophy: careful land selection, refined design, and uncompromising construction standards.

 

Two years later, a residential complex of five apartments in Kastri followed, and in 2005 a milestone project emerged in one of Kefalari’s most prestigious streets. This large-scale development combined five luxury apartments with two signature villas and was fully sold out in less than six months—marking a defining moment in the company’s early growth.

 

The years that followed saw continuous expansion across the northern suburbs of Athens. In 2007, another residential complex was completed in Kastri, while in 2009 AK delivered a landmark project in Kefalari through a joint venture with a leading development company, comprising an 800 m² residential complex alongside a 600 m² luxury villa. In 2010, an impressive 1,200 m² development in Politeia further strengthened the company’s reputation for executing ambitious, high-quality residential projects.

 

Between 2012 and 2016, AK focused on a series of distinctive and carefully selected transactions within the niche Kefalari real estate market, refining its expertise in bespoke developments and strengthening its presence in one of Athens’ most demanding residential districts.

 

A new chapter began in 2017 with the company’s strategic expansion into Mykonos—one of the most competitive and prestigious luxury property markets in Europe. AK introduced a new generation of turnkey ultra-premium residences, pioneering some of the island’s earliest subterranean luxury homes. From 2018 to 2021, projects such as Carved House, Edge House, and Saint John House redefined architectural integration with the natural landscape, each featuring villas exceeding 500 m² on plots of over 4,000 m².

 

From 2019 onward, the center of Kifissia emerged as a new focal point of development. Along Kyprou Street, AK delivered three separate residential buildings—each exceeding 600 m²—between 2020 and 2023, responding to a growing demand for refined urban living in prime locations.

 

Between 2023 and 2025, a landmark building rose on Levidou Street, one of Kifissia’s most valued addresses. Featuring an exceptional architectural façade that reflects the company’s core values, this project comprises four exclusive residences and more than 1,000 m² of high-quality built space. It quickly became one of the most desired places to live in the area.

 

In 2025, Politeia Square became another center of activity, where AK introduced a contemporary residential concept offering residences of exceptional quality for those seeking tranquility combined with modern design.

 

From 2024 to 2027, the company continues its evolution with two major architectural developments on Pentelis Street and Mavromichali Street, delivering more than 2,000 m² of thoughtfully designed residential space.

 

Looking ahead, the 2028 project—already fully booked—will once again be located in the heart of Kifissia. It introduces a newly modeled residential concept incorporating the most advanced construction methods and technologies to date, setting a new benchmark for modern living.
